The Internal Effect and Sex Work; Twitter Discourse cw: mentions of violence, pornography

Twitter user @farmbian quoted a tweet they found which showed a man describing the entitlement which he feels to porn and to sex worker’s bodies because he pays for their content. When @farmbian quoted the tweet, they replied with a message which mentions how disappointed they are in the women who expressed support for the man and his ideas; they say that these women are "corrupted by libfeminism".
The responses to this initial tweet which @farmbian is referring to demonstrate the internal effect. All women are inherently oppressed by capitalism and heteropatriarchy. Yet, some women who replied to the tweet defending this man feel that each woman has agency and has a choice whether or not to a)participate in or b) be affected by the oppressive foundations of pornography and sex work. These foundations are inherently non-consensual. Thus, these women are allowing negative ideas about themselves and their group to be internalized and expressed against each other through their opinions on pornography.
