New Film and New Tweet Delete Alerts

Jesse Williams will direct the film Till about Emmett Till's mother. However, in all his excitement he is facing mass scrutiny for posting photos of Emmett Till's mother with the caption "Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything. 

He since deleted the posts, but not quickly enough for the media to talk about it. Monique Judge from The Grapevine, asserts, "Mamie Till-Mobley did not make the choice to have white racists murder her son. It wasn’t a sacrifice, and to paint it as such for the sake of jumping on a current trend is both disgusting and disrespectful." Other users are shocked the use of a "black woman grieving" shouldn't be used as a meme or used to promote a brand.

Other producers of the film include Whoopie Goldberg, Beauchamp, Frederick Zollo, Barbara Broccoli, Thomas Levine, and Leah Natasha Thomas. 

While the movie deserves to bring the case of Emmitt Till to the public's eye so they don't forget, complete awareness about the issue understood by all directors.
