Women VS. Women...Again

The narrative of women being enemies is nothing new to media as is evident by Jennifer Lopez vs. Mariah Carey; Hillary Clinton vs. Monica Lewinsky; Elizabeth Taylor vs. Debbie Reynolds; Nicki Minaj vs. Remy Ma; Britney Spears vs. Christina Aguilera; Angelina Jolie vs. Jennifer Aniston; Taylor Swift vs. Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus, Lorde, Chloe Grace Moretz, therefore the clash between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. has received a plethora of media coverage across outlets. ABC  headlines that Nicki Minaj feels "humiliated" by the fight with Cardi. The article features the two photos below depicting the women as cold, tough, and aggressive. CNN uses the same image as the header of the article about the feud. However, these successful women are the two most dominant female rappers and rather than supporting each other, they have this huge feud. Also, it feeds into the stereotype that women are "catty."
