Pete Davidson Mocked a Blind GOP Candidate

The Saturday before the midterm elections, Pete Davidson performed in the Weekend Update on Saturday Night Live. In the update, Pete went through some of the candidates up for seats with some "light hearted" humor. In his humor, he brought up Dan Crenshaw, a war veteran who lost his eye during battle.

This is really problematic not just because he lost his eye during war, but because Pete Davidson openly mocked a handicapped person on TV. This furthers the stereotypes we often see about handicapped people on television and in movies and sets us 10 feet back from the 20 feet we stepped forward.
